10.seconds had an amazing time performing top party dance floor favourites for the 240th US Navy ball. I have clocked up a lot of stage time over the years and don't really suffer from nerves very often anymore, but I have never been so nervous as when I stood in front of over 400 people, including military personnel, and sang their national anthem to them. I have performed the Australian national anthem before and it was certainly emotional, but when you are singing to people about their nation’s pride, their identity, their home, and it’s not your own, there is incredible pressure to get it right for them. Daniel did a marvellous job of the SG national anthem and Ian was a champ leading us both on keys. Enough pressure to last me until next year's ball!
